Program Registration:
Participants must pre-register for all classes.
Please register early! If a class does not have a sufficient number of participants registered one week prior to the beginning of the class, it will be cancelled.
Please complete the registration form and return with payment.
Once you have registered for a program, you will not hear from our office unless:
The activity is full.
You have provided us with a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
Program Information:
All programs are subject to change.
Age - A participant must be the proper age by the start or end of the program (unless otherwise noted). All age requirements are set to benefit the participant and make instruction more consistent for the program leader. In some instances, the requirements have been set for the participant's safety.
Participant's must provide their own medical insurance.
Any person with a disability needing special accommodations to participate should contact the Community Center two weeks prior to the activity.
Enrollment:
Registration is accepted on a "first come, first serve basis" until the maximum number of people are registered. After a class has reached capacity, registrants will be notified with other options. When registration form and fees are received, an individual is immediately enrolled. If any forms are incomplete, incorrect, lacking payment, or not signed they will be returned. Please note that early registration is recommended. Register early, YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!
Refunds:
We will gladly issue a refund for any multi-session program for any reason as long as you contact us prior to the first class. After the first class, no refunds will be given. Refunds for one-day activities are not possible after the event has taken place. A five dollar administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds. Refunds may take up to six weeks to be processed.
Returned Checks:
Any check returned for insufficient funds will be assessed a $30.00 fee for each check that is returned.
Cancellations:
NYCS Inc. reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient registration. A full refund will be given. Classes will be cancelled for inclement weather if either of the following organizations is closed: Dillsburg Borough Office or Northern York County School District. If the school district operates on a delay due to inclement weather, programs will run as scheduled. If the district dismisses early, all programs starting at 2 PM or after are cancelled. In the event of inclement weather during the spring session, when schools are not open, participants should call 432-2079.
Make-up Classes:
The Community Center will make every attempt to reschedule classes that are cancelled. The make-up class is usually rescheduled just after the original ending date. No refunds will be given for unattended make-up classes.
Parents:
Classes start and end on schedule; please arrive promptly to pick up your child. Please inform the instructor if someone other than yourself will be picking up your child. Parents may watch any class through the glass window unless participating in a parent/child class. Parent participation is required with children under three years of age.
Caution:
Due to the strenuous nature of some activities, the participant is urged to consult a physician before participation. Some activities present inherent risks and hazards, which the participant is urged to consider, and which the participant assumes.
